Hi-Def 55 is made in England and meets the highest standards. It features an extremely musical sound, made possible by a cleverly designed set of features: 8 bands of overlapping control per channel, a unique combination of shelf and bell curves, a detail function and much more.

The Opal collection includes two plugins. One is the standard version of the Hi-Def 55, originally designed by John Oram. The second expands functionality by adding a preamp input control, mid/side, pan and sweep controls, and an independent channel output control.

John Oram is a legendary name in the electronic music industry, whose work has been nominated for 23 Technical Excellence & Creativity Awards. His creative talents as a musician, producer, touring drummer, mixer and technical engineer have led him to collaborate with some of the most important bands and audio companies since the early ’60s, including the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Vox and Trident Audio.
